"We didn’t feel we could make an official complaint for fear of losing our jobs."

Both myself and my production secretary at the time experienced what we felt was bullying during a job in 2019. The production exec in question would speak rudely to us in front of others, click her fingers at us and haul us out of the room in antagonistic ways, often reducing us to tears, for unfounded reasons.

We didn’t feel we could make an official complaint for fear of losing our jobs or making situation worse. There wasn't time for any "drama" in what was a quick turnaround show. However, the head exec did listen and had an "off the record" chat where the individual was made to apologise. This was in a company where people were often reduced to tears or spoken to in this way. It caused a great amount of distress to my mental health at the time.
