"The production manager would mention that she could blacklist people from the industry."

When I was a production secretary many years ago, my production manager and production coordinator bullied me.

I was working on a makeover show, my contract was a six-day week and we would film the makeover on a Sunday. I was tasked with doing a massive supermarket shop on the Saturday and then on Sunday. I was expected to be on location at 4am, and not finish until midnight. And yet, the production manager and production coordinator would work on a rotating basis. The production manager would mention to myself, the runners and researchers that she was influential and could blacklist people from the industry. I could never raise their behaviour towards me to anyone senior in the company because of the how it could affect my career. This carried on for three months. Later on, the series was extended for a one-off special. I was informally asked if I wanted to stay on, and at the time I said yes because I didn't have many contacts for a new job. Despite being told by the production manager that they were going to extend my contract, they posted for my replacement without telling me. I was then told to make all of the arrangements for my replacements interview.
